Montezi

When silence built walls between our hearts,

I carried the weight of broken parts.

Every word we never said

Still echoed softly inside my head.

But love like ours does not fade away,

It waits through night to find its day.

Through pride, through tears, through all the pain,

Two souls still call each other again.

Montezi, hear this truth tonight,

No storm can kill a faithful light.

I never wished for us to fall,

I still remember it all.

The laughter hidden in your smile,

The moments that made life worthwhile,

The way your presence calmed my fears,

And turned my darkest nights sincere.

So let the anger lose its flame,

Let healing whisper through your name.

If hearts can bend, then hearts can mend,

And broken roads can meet again.

I come not perfect, just sincere,

With love that still remains right here.

No need for blame, no need for war,

What matters now is what we’re for.

If you still feel what I still do,

Then let this poem return us two.

Not as strangers lost in pain,

But as two hearts made whole again
