Summary

You can read most of this website without creating an account or giving personal information. When you sign up for the newsletter, create a Room account, post in The Room, react to posts, or start a store order, the site collects the information needed to provide that feature.

Personal information is not sold. It is used to operate the site, send requested emails, protect conversion forms from abuse, understand non-PII funnel behavior, and maintain the community features you choose to use.

Information You Provide

• Newsletter and updates: email address, subscription source, and campaign details when you subscribe or join a waitlist.
• Room account: first name, optional last name, email address, encrypted password, account confirmation state, notification preferences, browser timezone for digest scheduling, posts, reactions, and related activity.
• Store interest and orders: product interest, local pending-order details, and any information needed to connect you with the selected checkout path. Payments may be handled by PayPal or another checkout provider, which has its own privacy policy.
• Messages and requests: information you include when you contact the site owner or reply to emails.

Automatic Information, Cookies, and Analytics

The site may record technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, browser timezone, pages visited, referring links, and timestamps. Cookies or similar browser storage may be used for account sessions, preferences, security, analytics, and attribution. Signed-in Room pages use the browser timezone to schedule weekly digests at a suitable local hour.

Public conversion forms use Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam and abuse. The site also records non-PII conversion funnel events, such as page views, form attempts, stable field identifiers, and error field names. Where Microsoft Clarity or similar analytics tools are enabled, they are used to understand site friction; sensitive fields such as email, password, tokens, and payment details should remain masked.

How Information Is Used

• To create, confirm, maintain, and protect Room accounts and community posts.
• To process store interest, pending orders, checkout links, and related support.
• To understand which public conversion paths are working without storing submitted form values in analytics events.

Service Providers and Third-Party Links

The site may use service providers for email delivery and newsletter management, hosting, analytics, spam prevention, payment or checkout processing, and embedded media. These providers process information only as needed for their services, but their own terms and privacy policies may also apply.

Links to external sites, including social platforms, SoundCloud, PayPal, or partner sites, are provided for convenience. This privacy policy does not control those external sites.

Your Choices

• You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails.
• Room email preferences, including weekly digests, reaction notifications, and response notifications, can be changed from your Room profile settings.
• You can ask for correction, export, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup-retention limits.
• Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, though some account and security features may stop working correctly.

Public Room Posts

The Room includes public-facing post pages, member-only posts, private drafts, and member activity. Do not post private information that you do not want the chosen audience to see. If you publish public content, that content may be visible to other visitors, indexed, shared, quoted, or retained in backups even after later changes.

Security

Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used to protect personal information. No website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If there is reason to believe account or personal information has been misused, contact the site owner promptly.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the site owner so the information can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made. Continued use of the site after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
